Need some pics of the 05-07 front ends...

Hey Guys,

I drive an '01 SD and want to convert to the 05-07 front end, but I'm running into an issue. I don't know what color bumper or grill I want to go with. My truck is white and I really really REALLY want the Harley Headlights. But I'm not sure if they would look good up against a chrome grill, with the white strip beneath that, and then the chrome bumper.

Or should I get the grill painted black AND have the front bumper painted black (instead of chrome) as well as having the center part painted white to match the body? By the way, the grill I'm planning on getting is the regular grill, not the Harley one...

Do you guys have any pics of white SD's that have the 05-07 Harley Headlights (as well as the 05-07 front end) with chrome grills and bumpers VS black grills and bumpers. Thanks a ton!

Haha, actually... your truck is one of my main "models" that I keep referring too! So you painted the front grill red now? How come? You didn't like the black front end anymore?

This is a picture that I refer to often as well... this is the look I would like to go with. I'm just not sure how it would look on a white truck.... Would you guys do the black grill with black bumper, or chrome grill and chrome bumper on a white truck, with the Harley Headlights.

lol thats funny. I did the same thing before i painted the grille. I saved a bunch of pictures and stared at them for hours trying to decide.

With my truck, i didnt mind the black grille at first but then it i started to feel like it really stood out in a BAD way. I was originally going to get the 4 bar grille and paint it Red but then i decided to paint the Harley grille and keep the center chrome to give a little contrast. IMO, i only like Harley lights with black or color matched bumpers and grille. I dont think the HD lights flow well with chrome bumpers and chrome grille.

If this helps at all, this was my truck with an XL grille before the HD grille.

Agh!!!! You see, THAT looks really good to me! D*mnit... I just don't know what to do! I really like the black headlights with black grill with black bumper... i just don't know how it'll look on a white truck.... Sigh....

Well crap. Thanks for the picture! I'll add that one to my list. Haha! By the way, just another question for everyone...

If I do the 05-07 front conversion (headlights, grill, bumper, etc) and then later on down the road, I save up enough money and want to do a Road Armor front bumper. Will the 05-07 bumper bolt up to my truck just fine?
