Suggestions on wheel/rim cleaner
Howdy. Getting ready to seriously detail my rig and wanted some ideas/suggestions on rim cleaner.
Usually I wind up taking off the front tires/rims to clean the inside of all the road mess and brake dust. Not that big a of deal as I have a hydraulic jack and air impact that makes quick work of it. But wondering if there is any REALLY good rim cleaner that would work well enough that I wouldn't have to remove the tires. Now I've tried many brands that make claims to dissolve the brake dust, etc, etc, etc and to me, none are worth a hoot. Thoughts from the pros? |

You may want to post pics and tell what finish you have. I use Meguiars wheel cleaner on the chrome rims on my Charger, but would not use it on aluminum rims because on a test it dulled it very badly. It took a lot of the brake dust off the backs, but left some that had to be scrubbed off.
