installing 2" front leveling kit, do i need shocks?

can you run the factor front shocks with the 2" or do i need to upgrade the shock size as well?

I did a 2" lift on my '03 and didn't have to change the factory shocks.

With a 2" the stock shocks should fit, but they will be close to maxed out.
I had the Daystar levelling kit which is 2-3/4" and the stock shocks wouldn't quite reach.

depends what year and what type of leveling kit you use. 99-04 if you use a hanger kit you will need new shocks. if you use an addaleaf or mini spring pack you will not need new shocks. the shock mount mounts to the TOP of the spring using U-Bolts and not to the axle. for 05+ you dont HAVE to but it is reccomended.

Hope you also added a adj track bar od drop bracket or you axles shifted. If it is a '05 up you also need castor shims.
