I'm considering painting my 17's black to avoid dropping $ on new rims, or possibly finding factory 5 spoke 20s to paint black for the truck in my efforts to eliminate all the chrome on my rig

(if anyone wants to trade their 20s for 17s holler )

Do you happen to know the exact size of the stock rims?

What do you mean?

Each truck has diff size and style based on its package (fx4 xlt lariat king ranch etc) and diff years also have diff size/styles.

My 05 lariat fx4 has 17" chrome 5 spokes.

Mine is an 06 with the stock xlt rims, not sure if you know what they look like. But I want to paint mine back and out 35's on them, I just don't mow what size tire to order

you can use a metric tire size calculator to figure out what size and width 35s you want. your rim size is the last digits listed on the tire size on the sidewall

ex- 315/70/r17

"r17"= radial on 17" rims

I know i can get a local guy around my house to blast them and black powdercoat them for 75 dollars a tire or maybe a little less.
