Some updates (finally!)
Well I decided to post some updates of my truck since doing a few things over the course of a year or two.
Big thanks to Raul @ Stealth automotive for the new blocks in the back. The any custom size option really worked out. I hated having the bed sagging in the rear (see before pics), now it sits right where it needs to and looks awesome. KR tan bedrail caps are also new, as well as the 35x12.50x20 nittos. Unseen is a wood/leather steering wheel that I sourced from this site. I also got a cool new flip key (like the expensive cars) and I absolutely love it. I guess more pics to come. On the beach is the before picture (from 2 years ago). Only thing I miss about then is the tinted windows. |

Looks great!
Where did you get the flip key? |

Got the flip key from an ebay seller named artiway. His store is here:
artiway items, buy and sell Parts Accessories on eBay Motors Guy is from Taiwan, but has been a good person to deal with. I was nervous but got the key in about 7 business days. Had an issue with the remote entry working but he sent me a new circuit board at no cost and everything worked out fine. I highly suggest him, although you cant get them elsewhere anyway. In order to get it to work I had to get out the dremel and grind down the sheath around the steering column. Just did a little rounded cut so this key would fit in, but left enough around the far edges so a standard key would still work. I attached pics of the key. As a kicker, the ford dealer by me cut the key for no cost. I'm also posting pics of my new aluminum 8-rod holder mounted on the toolbox. Got it from a guy on thehulltruth.com. Anyone wanting one pm me and I can get you in touch. He also bed-lines them for extra $ Thanks |

All you have to do is use a dremel to file down the "sleeve" around where you insert the key on the steering column. The newer trucks dont have it from what I've seen.n You have to file it down at least on my 06 because the bulk of the flip key is perpendicular to how it was before.
