plastic tailgate piece?

i was driving down the road when i lost mine last night. i came up with a cheap solution. i cleaned and preped the area with alcohol while i was waiting for the paint to dry on the console prodject. here are the pics pretty simple and permanent. 1 clean surface. both tail gate and the plastic trim 2 cut a few strips of 3m double sided sticky tape. 3 line up snap in and press down. your done!
