Carrier Bearing Spacer ?

I installed a front end levelling kit on my truck the other day. Now when loaded or towing I'm nose high.
So I'm looking to get some rake back. Might as well keep the lift.
Want to add rear blocks (4 inch block for 2 inches lift) .
My question is, do I need to install a carrier bearing drop spacer ? I read that I need a 1/4 to 1/2 inch of spacer for every inch of lift kit, is this true ?

Thanks.
