Removing Factory Steering stabilizer?

My factory steering stabilizer is shot, so i went to replace it and cannot get the through bolt that attaches the stabilizer to the steering linkage out. I took the nut off and hit it a few times with a hammer but no luck. any suggestions?

that probable would have been easier... I just shot it with pb blaster and a couple strong hits with a hammer and it came loose.
