How 'bout a lift ?

Two nights of searching and reading and I'm really confused now...
Was thinking of lifting my truck, maybe 4 inches, not too much cuz I plow and tow with her. Truck has plow pkg. and best I can tell that means stiffer springs up front. The rake isn't very harsh, and I think the 2 in. levelling kit I bought a long time ago (under-shock spacers) only needs to be ONE inch to make her level. Sound right ? I never installed it.
SO :
What is a decent 4 in. kit ? still my daily driver.
Does it need to be 3" in back and 4 " in front ?
Kust bought HD Billstiens Do I need the longer ones ?
can I go to a 35" tire and which rim diam/height, BS won't rub ? (current 17")
20's look cool, but I notice 18's are alot cheaper, best size combo for the $ ?
Are DUAL steering stabilizers necessary with what I'm looking for ? single OK ?
Like the MotoMetals, but don't want Chinese, any American-made good'ns ?

Thanks to everyone for your help !

The best riding kits 4" will have a 4 link upgrade as the factory arms will not allow any twisting. The best brands..Icon, Pure Performance, RCD and Rize. Its recomended to use duals..
