09 bumper on a 06 install help!!

Im putting a new bumper on my 06. Its a 09 or 10, they are not sure... here is my question... do i need to use my brackets or use the ones on the 09/10? i just want to make sure before i trade mine in a need something.... thanks

You'll need the 08 - 10 bumper brackets. Don't forget to unplug your tag lights on the old bumper before you drop it down. You will reuse your bolts.

If you are talking about the rear, I needed to use '08 bumper brackets on my '04. I swapped out my bed, tailgate and new bumper. Could not use same brackets.
