Blacked out truck vs Chrome....

I have a dark blue super duty with some stainless rails..chrome grill bumpers but black and polished wheels..I think it looks nice but lately been interested in "blacked out" truck and wanna get opinions on that. Also any dark blue trucks on here blacked out please post pics!....

I'd say find a good balance. ALL black will only look good on a truck that's black, grey/silver, or white (maybe red ) IMO. And to much chrome/SS will NEVER look good, again IMO.

With the blue truck, (my GF LOVES that color BTW, it was a fight when I wanted black, luckily it's my money buying vehicles .), I'd keep some of the shiney stuff, bumpers, grill, step bars, wheels. Then go black or color match with others stuff, door handles, mirror caps, smoked lights, harley heads :thumb, DARK tint, ect

chrome is 80's but blacked out is only good on a black truck...

On my truck the only chrome I have no is the rims and the grille. I have rhino lined steel bumpers on the front and back, harley head lights and smoked 3rd brake lights and mirror lights. Once it warms up the front windows are also getting tinted. Chrome looked nice in moderation, but all it really is a pain, youre constantly polishing it and kicking yourself in the spring after a long winter with lots of salt.

ive debated pulling off the damn door handles and getting them painted...or leave em black to match mirrors..window tint.. and wheels..or get them painted..grr im so indecisive..i really wanna get the 08 chrome rear bumper and blue tailgate..its just i have seen a blue truck on here with black rockstars and bblacked out tail lights and stuff and look real nice. Give me suggestions.....

If it were me, I'd get rid of the chrome door handles and bed rails and call it a day.

do a harley grille and harley lights on it... paint the handles to match the truck... leave the badges and the wheels.... you are good to go

Paint the handles to match body color, put black (stock) bed rail caps, including tailgate, and be done with it.


Truck look great BTW
