New Toolbox installed - PackRat

Well I finally got tired of my chest style tool box I had in the truck. I liked having a toolbox for all my stuff but hated losing the front part of my bed. I have a friend that had a PackRat sitting in his shop he wasnt using. I picked it up pretty cheap. It was a little rusty but got a good enough deal it was worth. I couldnt believe how heavy this thing was when I went to pick it up. Between two of us..I didnt think we were going to get ip up in the bed.

Anyway, I picked it up from his place and took it and had it sprayed with bedliner. I had the entire outside and front of the drawer sprayed with liner. Once that was done I sprayed the inside part of the drawer semi-gloss black. Then I found a roll of stuff at Oreilys thats made for catching oil leaks. Its a carpet type material on one side, and a rubber type material on the other side.

I'm really happy with how it turned out. Love out it stores everything where I can see it. Also the extra weight in the back of the truck helped the ride. Enough with the chit chat, here are some pics.

This is how it looked when I picked it up:

Here is after having it sprayed with liner:

Here is after I painted the drawer and installed the drawer liners:

Here it is opened and loaded:

I checked the bearings while I had it apart, they were in good shape.
