anyone running 40" tires on 05-07 ?
id like to figure how much more lift or trimming im gonna have to do.im running 8" & 37s now.pictures if ya got em.

I have a 10 inch lift and would have no problem clearing 40s. If that helps you any. Maybe throw in a 2 inch spacer

how "custom" is that lift ? thats about the stance i would like.driveline vibration?

Only vibration I have is on take off, and that is because of axle wrap. Traction bars will fix that. The lift is based off an 8 in. Pro Comp XX, but I have different coilovers and shocks put on to put it at 10 in. few other things were changed.

I know of a few actually that are running 39's 41's and a set of 40's under 4.5" and 6" lifts.
of course they had to do cut-outs as well, but they will fit under a smaller lift. |

I am running a fabtech 10" lift with 40x15.50 mud grapplers and I had to trim the fenders in order to be able to drive it around on the street. I can not go off road at the moment because as soon as I do my tires start to grab my fenders. So I am in the process of going to a 12" lift to get them to clear.

ive always run mud grapplers,but just for something different i may try iroks.41x1450x18.anyone have a real measurement of how tall they are?

If u want to truly clear 40s you need a 12" lift. I was at 10" (40x15.50s on 20x12 wheels) and wld rub (rip out my fender liners in front) at any suspension compression while turning the wheel. Jst went to a 12" and no rub at all. If you ran a different offset and narrower tire you 'might' be ok. But I'm not into skinny tires at that size.
