2006 F 250 Rims/Tires Questions

I have a 2006 F 250 that I have decided to upgrade to a set of aftermarket rims and tires. I am concerned about getting the right ones that will fit my truck but am very confused. All I know is the door jamb says 18 x 8.0. My truck does not have a lift. Can someone let me know the proper bolt pattern, back spacing etc that I need? Also, What size tire would look good on my truck without the need to install a lift? Should I stay with stock tire size on new rims? I have so many questions, any advice would be great.

Thanks,
John

not sure on the back spacing but you'll want to get the same as factory, the bolt pattern is 8x170, lots of rims out there for our trucks. im not too sure on what direction to point you towards as far as tire size, i have a leveling kit on my truck with 35inch tires. they fit great on the stock rims with the correct back spacing but when i bent one and replaced the stockers with aftermarket, i forgot to check the backspacing and they catch on my inner fenders. so make sure to get the correct back spacing lol
