03 side view mirror

Well last night I had my truck parked on the street and when I got in it to drive it. I noticed that my side view mirror was ripped off. I am asuming some jack *** hit it last night so its time to buy a new one. I found a power/heated mirror off an 03 for a decent price. My question is a side view mirror off an 03 the same as one off an 07. I am not sure if everything is compatible. Maybe this means its time for an upgrade so I could put 08 mirrors on it. Does anybody know how much it would cost me to do the conversion?

08's are a sweet upgrade! Not sure, but I think you can get a pair off Ebay or C-list around $4-500. Depending on what's on your mirrors now, you're gonna have to add some switches and wiring to make em work. Lots of good write-ups around. New mirrors have turn signal, marker lights, heat, power fold/ extend.
