Are 2004 to a 2006 TT mirror parts interchangeable?

Long story short I have a broken heated mirror glass(driver) and the mirror doesn't move via the switch.

Found a 2004 mirror that is power and has the heated glass for $77 shipped.

I know the outer covers are different from the 04 to the 06 TT mirrors, but are the power mirror motor parts & heated glass the same, thus being able to transfer it from one to the other?

Alot of people, myself included are running 08 mirrors on older trucks. If I can use 08's on my 04, 06's should be fine. The wiring is very simple if you need to switch a couple wires.
