Bed cap removal
Anybody know how the factory bed caps on a 2007 F350 are attached. I want to remove the dealer installed bed liner and get a spray-in liner. The bed caps appear to be what holds the bed liner in place. Are the caps snapped into the bed, or glued on? I don't see any obvious place for screws or other fasteners. I was hoping someone here could clue me in before I try to remove them and break something.
P.S. does anyone want a factory bed liner for a short box F350(assuming I don't damage it roo bad getting it out )?Thanks Jay |

They should just snap in.

They snap on,it helps if they are warm.Let them sit in the sun if you can, even then it may still screw them up.

Yeah, I found that they snap out, but not easy. I quit after the first couple, cause i was afraid I'd ruin to many tabs and have to get new ones. Turns out the liner only catches under the rail in 4 spots, so I was able to bend it enough with out removing the caps.
The liner came out in pretty good shape. If anybody wants it all they have to do is pick it up. Hurry if I still have it when I make the next trip to the dump I'm going to cut it up and throw it in. Jay |
