I have them in my truck and they are 10x better than the factory stuff even with the Silverstar bulbs. My only complaint is there are no instructions what so ever and the wiring needs a little more length from one side to the other. The set up requires you plug into the passenger side pigtail with their plug for a signal for on/off and high/low. The driverside isn't used at all. You hook to the battery for ground and power on the passengerside batt. You then have the crossover harness you run over to the driverside. I had to remove the grill and route it behind it, the wires are to short for any other routing. The ballast come with double sided tape to mount them, which ends up being under the header panel behind the grill right by each headlight. My tape turned loose in 2 days and was hanging by the wires. I went back removed the grill and used heavy duty zip ties and tied it to the header panel. So far so good. They've been on a month or so. I fussed and moaned like crazy about how much of a pain they were to get on because of the short wiring and the ballast falling, but the light that comes out of them is amazing and bright, high beam does kinda wash out a little but I can light up tree line to tree line on a 4 lane divided highway on high. I couldn't sse crap with the old ones and aiming them up just made the beam washout and get me bright lighted. I love them after all was said and done. Just be willing to take your time and lay everything out before you start routing and installing it permanently.

Go to DDM Tuning for your HID's. Far better prices and a lifetime warranty for replacement. There units are really top notch, especially given the price. I've done two sets on my GTO, two sets on my buddies 68 Impala, one set on my girlfriends Altima, and just order two sets for my F250. Never had a problem with any of them. The Harley lights as you know, you can get at a million places.

would it not be cheaper to just buy the harley lights then fit them with hid bulbs?

certifit.com has harley lights for 63.00.DDM hid's are like 80 bucks built to the max.Prolly best to go that route if you have a certifit near you because they don't ship
