Tailgate Caps

Well, I finally killed my tailgate cab, between all the hauling and loading/unloading of my ATV.

Dont really want to replace with the same plastic cap, what has everyone else done after the cap breaks,

what are you referring to? is it the plastic piece that goes over the top of the tailgate, you can get diamond plate metal for that part.

I have some tan duct tape.......would that help?

Yep, thats it, was unloading some old RR ties and concrete this afternoon and it finally fell off.

Does anyone know if the black diamond plate will scuff, lot of weight and metal goes across there,

Something about tan duck tape from a plumber makes me nervous about odor!!
