Mirrors

Ok, a couple things here.......I have an 07 and whoevr had the truck before me scratched the mirror pretty good. They are power mirrors. Not heated. And no directional in them. I want to replace them. First, how do I get the door panel off? Is there a special tool I need? Second, I want to put power, heated mirrors on. Will the plug be the same?

cant help on the mirror part. but there is a screw behind the reflector on your doors. and you'll need to take the piece where the window controls are off. just use a screwdriver or pick to get underneith the front of them and pull up they will pop out. there should be a screw right there. then you need to take off the black pieces on the inside of your doors right where the mirror attaches. hope that made sense if not i can probably pull some pics up to help

I have some additional questions....What controls the heated mirrors. And, If I were to put mirrors on with signals in them, would the plug also be the same. Thanks guys.

Can anyone help me here before I buy new mirrors? Will I be able to plug power, heated mirrors right in? What controls the heat? Thanks guys
