FX4 package

i have a 03 with the FX4 package and was just looking around for a leveling kit and when i called 4 wheels parts the guy said my truck already has a factory 2" lift on it and i didnt need a leveling kit for it.so my question is, is this true and if so whats the largest tire size i can go with and not rub for a 18" wheel?i was trying to wait until the holiday's was over but a piece of steel fall off a truck beside me on the interstate today and not only did it blow the tire but it messed up the wheel and now i am just going to go ahead and bite the bullet and get a new wheels and tires.

All the FX4 package means is that you have skid plates and differnet stickers on the bed. I have an FX4 as well and i am in need of a leveling kit pretty bad. I would have to say that there was a misunderstanding somewhere between you and 4 wheel parts.

thanks for confirming what i already thought.i guess i will be ordering the procomp leveling kit since its on sale for 433.00 shipped unless somebody else knows where to get a better deal on 1 somewhere else, along with some tires and wheels

Not True. I just put a level kit on my 03 FX4. When i bought my first FX4 the salesman told me the same thing about a 2" lift.

I bought mine direct from Rough Country for like 200.

The snow plow prep package is what includes a leveling kit. Maybe they were confused between that and the FX4 Package?

I agree with what everybody above said. My dad has an FX4 and I just have the plain old 4x4 and our trucks sit exactly the same. Make sure you get a Hanger and shackle kit for that price and not just a mini spring pack.
