honeycomb on 05-07 grills

Can this honey comb stuff in between the grill be taken off or cut off without looking bad? Ive never looked at one of them close up in person but it seems like all the ones I've seen dont have the honey comb and I think I like the look better without it.

They all come with the honeycomb. You can remove it but its a pain in the ***, theres about 30 clips holding it to the grill shell. Without it you would see the radiator, it would be pretty ugly imo.
