Well, not sure if this quite qualifies....I apologize in advance for it not being a good picture. I had just got the rims and tires on and wanted to send a picture of it to a few people. I just don't have many pictures of my truck. Eventually the toolbox, bed rails and rear bumper will be black too.

Hey, I tried. I'm just not QUITE there yet. Unless his definition of blacked out involves the paint too. On a side note, 05strokinfx4, your truck looks awesome. Thanks for the compliment...It's not anywhere close to done yet, but I can only work as fast as my funds allow. I'll have to look into the seats a bit more.

try tinted clear coat..i use 1 part color to 2 parts clear \
it allows a little crome to shine but frm a distance it looks black or what ever color you chose

on mine i used a deglasing or you can "LIGHTLY" sand with steel wool
because you dont want to mess the crome its a pain to replace it.
but if it does run then you can clean it with acitone c\becaue the shiny plating has metalic properties and it shouldent hurt t too bad..also keep in mind if you live near the coast or might have road salt on it then clean it well with isopropal and let dry
