I'm skeered of the dark... lol Nah, night time lighting has always been a pet peeve of mine. When I get the cash, I am going to go HID in the factory headlights and fogs and maybe try to swap the Hellas for Lightforce....
Plus, the girlfriend (now wife) lived in a very rural area and driving there at night sucked....

quick question on the 05 to 07 xl grilles are they smooth, and can they be painted very easily.

Do you plan to dechrome the whole truck or just the grill?

The grille is not as smooth as say the chrome one but it is not textured REALLY rough. With a lil bit of prep, it could easily be painted.

That is probably as far as I am going with de-chroming right now. I am EVENTUALLY gonna go with some aftermarket bumpers, and maybe black wheels. Because, you know what they say, Once you go black, you will never polish chrome again....
