I didn't think alot of people would be interested in doing this mod, but I definitely will work work on a write up/wiring diagram for this. For now though the wire colors for the power fold/power telescoping features are as follows: Power Fold: Purple w/ yellow stripe Purple w/ green stripe Power Telescoping: Orange (solid) Orange w/ blue stripe Drivers side and passengers side are exactly the same colors. The initial polarity does not matter as it is just linear actuators that you are controlling. Simply reverse the polarity for it to function in the opposite direction. If anyone has any other questions, just let me know, I'll be happy to help... -Brad |

Some people have shown interest in doing this mod and have asked what switches I used, where I purchased the switches, and how I wired up the DPDT switches. So, I thought I would pass some more information on this mod along... Check out Grainger.com to see if there is a location near you as I got my switches from the local Grainger here. Here's a picture and a link to the actual DPDT momentary on-off-momentary on rocker switches I used: pic: ![]() link: Switch,Rocker - Marine Switches - Switches - Electrical : Grainger Industrial Supply They do carry some other switches that are a little cheaper, but they were out and these were the only ones they had left in stock. Now for the wiring of the DPDT switches, here is a diagram that should explain it. Just make sure that you feed the switch fused 12 volt power, either through an in-line fuse or one of those add-a-circuit kits. 12 volt power is fed to terminals B & E in this diagram. Polarity does not matter. pic: ![]() Any other questions, just let me know... -Brad |

Brad, your my new hero! I,ve been looking for this info for awhile at another forum. Strangly enough, I just bought my mirrors off ebay about 4 weeks ago. And my truck is an 06 F350 cc/sb psd amarillo. On to my question, how did you connect to the wiring harness for other features glass heat, light. Did you go thru the factory plug or just cut it off. And how close were the two harnesses? original truck, and new mirror, meaning color codes, I hope my ramblings make sense. I'm just glad to you. Thanks for any help, Howard |

My question is about the mounting of the mirrors themselves. Do they bolt up directly to where the old mirrors are or do you have to modify the mirror or location?
