Do you think chrome or black wheels???

Ok I suck at visualizing wheels. So anyways, I'm buying new 35s and I'm going to buy some 18x9 Rockstars to go with them. The black ones are cheaper but I don't know if they will go with my truck or not? Chrome ones will cost about an extra $400 total and will not hold up in the Canadian winter very well (which will be a problem if I don't end up leaving for Texas). Anywho which do you guys think I should get, or does anyone have pics of a bronze King Ranch truck with black rims so I can see what it looks like??? Thanks.

The only thing about the black Rockstars is that they scratch really easily and they are an eye sore........learned that the hard way So if you off-road alot or drive down dirt roads or cake up mud on your truck I don't recommend the black ones

Really??? Dang... the tire guy I just spoke to told me they hold up better than the chrome ones I drive down lots of gravel roads...

He's just trying to make the sale, as long as you wash off the chrome ones every once and while you'll be fine or you could look into some teflon coated wheels, those would be your best bet

What wheels hold up the best on gravel my XD are doing ok this will be the third year on gravel and their chrome thinking next year of powder coating them black!

ive like the black rockstars , but was unaware of the scratch issue, but i think chrome rims would look best on yur rig

I went with black (Monsters not Rockstars)for two reasons. The First was I like how they look alot better. Second reason was I know so many people that have chrome wheels that are having pitting issues. I think the quality of the materials has gone down hill. Just my oppinion.

I'd say chrome also. Black looks good on black and white trucks and some dark gray

Chrome would look best on your truck. If it was white, silver, or black then I wouldn't hesitate to say black wheels. The thing with black wheels is your truck needs to be able to "pull it off" so to speak. I just don't think your king ranch is going to be able to go with anything but chrome...
