Will they fit?

Anyone know if a 35/12.50/18 tire will fit onto the factory 18x8 aluminum rims. I went to a tire store yesterday and the guy wouldnt sell me that size b/c he said they are too wide for the rims and he wont install em. I know ive seen guys runnin them tho. Any help?

Technically they are too wide for the stock wheel.

However, they are run on many stock wheels all the time.

With that said the reason he did not want to sell you those was for liability reasons, if you put a lower than recommended pressure in them to keep from wearing out the middle section of the tread, then you risk overheating the sidewalls.

yea i know they are a little wide for the stock rims, i was always told to be within 2 inches to be safe, i just dont want to spend the extra money on wheels to put some bigger tires on
