05' Subwoofer Box w/ Power Slider

Hey Guys,

I have searched without much luck. I am in need of a sub box to go in my 05' Harley with the power sliding rear window. I know I do not want more than two subs. I am really thinkin hard about the JL 13TW5 12'' in a ported enclosure like the one pictured below. There are alot of crew cabs out there with systems......I would just like some opinions. Whats the hardest hitting setups you all have seen behind the rear seats? Thanks!

Do you have that box in there already? If not, you can go to SPL2K. He has them for single 12" or 13" or for two 12's or two 13's.

Mine doesn't have the power window, plus I moved my rear seat forward a tad, but my P3s hit pretty hard. Enough to vibrate the rear view mirror down. And from outside the truck you can watch the rear door panels flex. Its pretty cool. A bit overkill now that I am older, but still pretty cool.

I put 4 8 inch subs and an 2 amps behind my seat in my King Ranch. Got the shop to cut a little then they somewhat matched the color of the seats with the carpet on the box. Looks factor would give you some pictures but the truck is in the shop getting studs and egr delete right now.

Thats an older model . must be nice to have the room behind the seats for a decent size box. 05+ doesnt have much room.

Do you want bass that will make your gut hurt? If so, it's not gonna happen with the small amount of volume behind the seat unless you move it forward. Having said that, I have 4 - 8s in mine, and it will definitely make your eyeballs rattle a little. LOL The box is super easy to build yourself. My cousin and I have built two of them, one for my truck and one for his. We just measured the distance on the bottom and top of the box area, made an angle cut to match, and stair stepped it for the motor and cab vent. For the other cab vent, we just cut a hole in the box and put a piece of MDF on the inside to seal the hole.

Its an 02 my brother, and the distance behind the seat is the same in all these crew cabs. I moved the rear seat forward to make it work. Before I moved the seat, yes, very little room to work with.

Actually the seats are different in the 05 and newer, less room. Plus in the 05 and newer the seat can't be moved forward like the 04 and older. I've had both. Wish I had the room in my 05 like I had in my 01.
