Looking for Car Audio? Check THIS out!

Hey everyone.....I was cruising around looking for a new head unit and was tossing it up in the air whether I wanted the Alpine W505 or the Kenwood 6140. Well after finding the Alpine for $790 from ABT Electronics(Abt Electronics And Appliance Store- HDTVs, Refrigerators and More) I was almost set on buying it.

However I started looking around one last time for the 6140 and came across a Toyota FJ forum (I know! shush!) I found the 6140 being offered at $726!!!!! I called the guy to confirm the price and he said he could do that price for me too. This is easily 300 under MSRP right now. He is also an authorized dealer for those of you worried about your warrenty. So after about 30 minutes of yip yapin (I lived in NH 11 years ago), I ended up buying pretty much everything I needed for the install minus the dash kit and ford wiring harness. For $1139 SHIPPED i got the following

Kenwood DNX6140, Kenwood Sirius Radio kit, iPod audio/video cable, PAC steering wheel control adapter, 2 PR of Kenwood KFC-P680C speakers. Also he told me if I called back next month to order my JL Audio Stealth Box he would offer it to me for $500!!!! I CAN NOT FIND IT THAT LOW ANYWHERE ONLINE!

Look this guy up. Wicked C.A.S. (Wicked C.A.S.) Talk with him and he'll prolly cut you guys some good deals too! Just tell him you heard of him thru the military guy from missouri who got some good deals from him on a 6140. He'll know who you are talking about

Also for those of you interested in the W505 from Alpine, that 790 price is in effect through the weekend I believe, and they are an authorized dealer for Alpine so warranty is valid. My local car audio shop for alpine has a "meet or beat" guarentee from any other auth dealer even online sources and they said they could NOT beat that price. Tells ya how good of a deal that is.

By the way for the record, I am not affiliated with either of these stores. Just putting out the information for everyone else!!!!

I got my Alpine W505 with the NVE-P1 navigation module for $840. Did this one come with the nav? My local audio shop will price match anything within 30 days.

No the alpine didnt come with the Nav unit. Not sure if their price is still the same on it. I was informed they were having a big sale. However I know the Wicked CAS dealer will cut smoking deals on all Kenwood H.U's. He sold a Kenwood Excelon KVT-614 (motorized 7" touchscreen) to my friend in the office for somewhere in the neighrborhood of $549 i think. I told him i put a shameless plug for him on the forums and he said no problem and is fully prepared to do business with anyone who contacts him. As far as customer service and prices...he gets double thumbs up in my book.
