03 6.0 lost elec curcuit
I have lost all power to instrument cluster and radio. All fuses are good so I suspect a relay but I can't find an owners manual to identify which relays might be involved. This trucks electrical panel previously burned (literally)requiring me to replace fuse panel under left dash and some connectors. three relays have always been too hot to touch in situations of high current draw. got any suggestions? Is a schematic availible on line for the fuse panel and the trucks electrical system? Thanks

Hey Shaun, thanks for the reply. I have already replaced my fuse panel under the driver side kick panel. I leave the kick panel off so I can moniter the temp of the relays and reduce elec consumption when they get hot. I guess it is obvious that an excessive cunsumer demand is on an inadequate circuit, but is that characteristic of this truck? Am i the only one with this issue and am I aware only because I leave the kick panel down? When the fuse panel burned up along with connections in the back, I could only eliminate the draw by disconecting the battery. I can see a design flaw there! It would seem that their might need to be more than one voltage supplier for the fuse panel, any suggestions? rich

there isnt a relay that powers the instrument cluster and radio, fuse only as far as i can see, an electrical issue will be impossible to diag over the net , electrical issues take time even with a schematic and are very time consuming
