New speedometer issue

I haven't found this in the search, so I need to make a thread.

After removing the IC to facilitate other maintenance, the speedo/cruise control aren't working. Everything was normal prior. All fuses are good, my Scan Gauge II reads a speed, I swapped in a new VSS in the axle, then replaced the OEM after cleaning, but still no speedo.

When I pulled the IC to check connections, I applied a small amount of Di-Electric grease to all three connectors because I read the connection is critical.

Any input would be GREATLY appreciated.

I am also posting this in General discussion for higher visibility.

Sorry, I can't think of anthing that may have caused it! On second thought is your ABS system all intact?

WE HAVE A WINNER!!!

It would seem that I didn't ensure proper 12V KO to the Superlift speedo box when I reassembled things. So, lenzhotrod wins for suggesting that it was an ABS issue.

Thanks a lot, I knew someone on the org would come up with something I was missing.
