Need A New Amp!

Alrighty guys, now that I have the siruis radio I'm kinda thinkin of putting my 12" JL Audio subs in my custom box behing the second seat. Not sure about clearance issues but I'm gonna try to see if it will fit or maybe move my rear seats up a little to make room for it.

My question is what kind of amp is the best on the market now? Back in the day it used to be rockford fosgate but I'm not sure now!

Also does the radio's in the '04's have sub leads coming out the back of them? I know some of them did but not sure if the super duties got them?!

Well I've been doing some work to the truck this past two weeks and I'm starting to make soem head way. I did the high idle mod and the fog lamp mod and hid all the wires for my sirius radio.

Now onto the sub box. I pulled out the carpet behing the rear seats to see how much more room I would gain and surprisingly it looks like I may have enough room to fit my sub box back there. On a test fit it almost went but it got hung up so I've started taking out the rear seats. I need a torx 55 wrench to take the seats outso I'm kinda hung up until this weekend. I have the tray that folds out for the floor so I'm thinking of cutting out the piece on the passenger side to make room to mount my amp under the seat. I'll keep you guys posted as I go.

Agreed JL gets my vote. They have excellent stuff but are pricey.

I ran a kenwood 600 for 7 years before it finally pooped out then replaced it with a newer kenwood. I'm pleased with it especially for only running 200 bucks. Going on a little over a year on the new one.
