Audio: barney style?

ok i know apsolutly jack sh!t about audio, what sounds the best, whats needed and not needed, so on and so forth. I've done some research and have come to te conclusion on a single din Alpine w/ bluetooth and Ipod stuff, 5 1/4 Alpine component speakers in the front, one shallow mount rockford fosgate in the back with a boss 1100 for the amp and set the remote switch for the sub on one of my unused upfitter swtiches to turn it off when i dont want it.

how is that set up? im trying to keep it pretty cheap i dont listen to things too loud anymore, and will the front speaker work in the back too or just get 2 way speakers for the back? like i said idk much and have search but have came up with nothing current answer wise. thanks

go with 6x8 speakers, or if you want the polk audio db 6.5 speakers are probably one of the best bang for your buck speakers out there, they go for 60 bucks a set or so on ebay.

Dont' buy boss anything. For a budget amp look at soundstream or ppi, check out

Where are you mounting the sub? For a shallow mount I recommend the Sundown Audio SD-2 10, get a dual 2 ohm voice coil version. I recommend sundown because they are built like tanks and come with a 2 year warranty.

a double din would look a lot better and fit better IMHO

up fitter for an Amp remote is a waste of a switch IMHO since the upfitter comes on and off with the ignition i would think it would be smarter to use the Head units REM lead
