I'm looking for a dual 10" sub box for behind the seat that fits an 04 crew cab. Can't decide wether to have one built or buy one. Got any suggestions?

the myth is they are hard to build for that little space on our trucks so i spent the good money and was pissed I didn't do my own

I later found a no name (other than made in the usa) box that was identical minus the porting to my high dollar box

you may want to relocate the power slider motor I have the SPL2K method and mine if you need

I don't have a power slider. I seen a couple on eBay. I thought someone talked about it before on this site but that was a while ago.

I bought a prefab box, there was not enough room to use regular subs, I had to buy shallow mount kickers.

He does some great builds but at the end of the day the spl2k crew box is carpet and MDF
just like many others or the same stuff you can use to DIY

Yeah but ZMANN, he has it tuned perfect for a ported box. Its crazy loud for what it is IMO and many others agree. Plus killer CS and good guy. But again in the end its your money and just MDF. The cheaper Pioneer shallow is what he recommends and its a workhorse. Might not be the best, but its pretty strong and hits well.

I got mine from supercrewsound.com. Don't really know anything about them but the box works and it fit the 2 x 10" subs I bought from my daughter (Kicker something or other - from her ex-boyfriend who owed her money or something). Anyway I ordered it, it showed up on time, it fits, and it sounds good to me.

Build a box you will have more air space than the prefab boxes and you can spend the money saved on an extra sub. I vote sundown SD 10's I am working on putting 4 behind my seat
