Fuel guage stuck on full

Ok, I have searched and read just about every post about this and most of them old. I have an aux fuel tank with gravity drain and have been using it for several years now with no problems. The other day I filled the main tank with the truck shut-off like I always do and turned the aux tank off. After I drove for over one hundred miles the guage still showed full and I got a P0460 code which has something to do with the fuel sender. I cleared the code but the fuel guage is still stuck on full. Hoping for any ideas other than dropping the tank. thanks

I just replaced my fuel sender 2 months ago. I was fueling my truck with it running and when I started it next morning check engine light came on. code came up as fuel sender. me and my brother inlaw dropped the tank and changed it out had the truck up in running in 2 hours. just make sure the tank is close to empty, 38 gallons can be heavy.
