upgrading sound system-adding speakers

Okay so im looking into upgrading my sound system because when i go to parties my truck is always the truck that plays music. im thinking about adding speakers to the rear doors if possible and also i would like to improve the bass. im thinking about using the front middle seat and cutting out underneath and placing a sub inside of the seat facing down. good idea? bad idea? other ideas? pictures of what you did? thanks

I built a wedge style box to fit a12"sub behind my back seat. I did have to move the seat forward about an inch though. But it's not a shallow sub either. If you use a shallow sub they should fit behind the back seat.

I plan on buying a pair of 6x9 and boxes, hooking them up to an amp with plenty of wire to run them out the back window and set on my tool box. Then I can fold the seat forward, and place them back there when not outside..
