i know people have moved the seat foward to allow for more room in the back, as for me, I run 2 pioneer shallow 10's amd sound great. I look at the comfort of the passengers in the back more than the sound. But thats just my good luck!!

for about $100 each, they sound great, you could spend more, it is all about your taste. I have a friend who spent a couple thousand on his truck, and there is a very subtle difference in the way his sounds, too much for me to spend

You might consider a Kicker CompVT 12". They have a 4 5/16 mounting depth and need about 1 cu foot each. That's definitely doable in a crew cab without moving the seat. My box has a little over 2 cu feet with 4-8" subs and close to 4 3/4" of depth. It sounds great. I've been thinking about building another box and going to 2-12" CompVTs to get deeper bass. If you try it first, let me know how it sounds.

I have directly compared the Rockford Fosgate, Kicker, and Pioneer shallow 12's in my F350. The Pioneer wins hands down for sound quality and sound quantity.
