there is a thread on what you are asking. search power fold mirror, it has all the wiring info that you will need.

Here's what I have saved on the subject. Still haven't got around to installing mine. LOL

"2008 mirrors - Here's a quick run down of the 08 mirrors to 06 mirrors install.

-Yellow w/ Silver tracer -Yellow
-Blue w/ Silver tracer -Blue
-Mint Green -Green
-Black -Black
-Black w/ White tracer -Black w/ White tracer OR Green w/ Purple tracer
-Brown -Brown

Passenger's Side:

-Purple w/ Silver tracer -Purple
-White -White OR White w/ Blue tracer
-Black -Black
-Black w/ White tracer -Black w/ White tracer OR Green w/ Purple tracer
-Brown -Brown

** Wire colors for Power-Fold & Power Telescoping functions were already posted earlier in this thread.

Here's the link I used for the relays in order to get the 08 mirrors to reverse the operation of the left/right functions and operate properly. It might look sort of confusing, but it was really simple to do.

Wiring fix

As far as the switch wiring(mine already had 7 wires uand fit into the 08 mirror switch). I just added the 8th wire that I took out of the WPT219 that I ordered.

If you flip the switch upside down so that you are looking at where the connector plugs into i will base my colors like this...

1234
5678

1-Black
2-purple
3-orange/green stripe
4-black wire I added
5-blue
6-yellow
7-green
8-red

Here is how I hooked up the wiring coming from the 08 mirrors to the stock wiring coming from the door.

08 mirror.......................................OEM

My mirrors have been sitting on my parts pile for close to a year now. LOL. Maybe when it ain't -30C out I'll feel like putting them on my truck.
