there is also a 12v power source that is needed to hook to the switched, its found behind the obdII port its whitew/light blue

As long as you have the upfitter switches, pick one and hook the other end to the pto wire. That will be your 12v source, real simple

I hope this can help you guys get your switches to working right. I would use switch # 4 for the high Idle.

Nice write up!!!

Now if someone would make a way we other PSD owners (99.5-03) could use the upfitter switches and EASY high idle mod!

There is one out there and I have seen it before but for the life of me I can't find it now. It may have been taking down. Good luck.
