Anyone done this on their truck before?
Any benefits to this instead of upgrading to high output alternator?
What parts would be required to do this conversion?

It's not as easy as one would think. The dual alt 6.0s have two belts, two tensioners, two idler pulleys, and a different hot side CAC tube and engine wiring harness. The PCM also needs to be flashed to make the second alt work. Unless you can find a donor motor with dual alts, it would faster, easier, and cheaper to install one of the larger DC Power alts. Then do the Big 3 battery cable upgrade and you will be all set
