ohc questions???

I have an 05 F250 crew cab and I was wondering if it was possible to take the ohc out of the 03-04 F250 and wire into mine??? I searched on here and found the threads about the exploder ohc and I did that in my ranger which was very easy. I'd like to put the ohc in my truck for the extra lights and the storage cubbies, but the main reason is it has the trip computer on them to tell the distance to empty.... any feed back will be great!!! thanks Also I have an extra exploder ohc but i don't think it would look right in the truck since it is smaller...

Your 05 doesn't have the trip computer in the middle of the dash between the tach and speedometer? With the info/setup/reset buttons to the right of the steering shaft on the dash? Mine does....it has the digital compass, odometer, trip meter, miles to empty, avg MPG, and engine hours

I think the XL and XLT models don't have those features Nick.
Even on the 05+ trucks.

Huh, I would have thought that the XLT at least had it

Well, for that matter then, you may be able to swap gauge clusters for one that does have it...I bet the harness for it is there, just not being used

I bought a ScangaugeII that does a much better job at showing all important calibrated data. It's a must have for a 6.0L diesel.
