Low beams coming on when High beams activated? HELP

Hey guys.

Leaving work today had a weird issue happen. When I turned my headlights on I noticed the blue high beam light lit up on my dash. But no headlights? only parking lights.. When I push the lever forward to activate high beams, my low beams then turned on and the high beam light on the dash went out.... Its as if the low/high beams have reversed lever positions. But the high beams do not come on.

Any idea on where to start here?? Has anyone experienced this before?

Thanks for any input!

probably the multi-function switch starting to die out on you (the one for brights, blinker, etc....)

Are they stock headlights or an HID conversion? If it's a conversion, whoever installed them possibly have the Hi/Low wires reversed and the kit could be a low beam only.

Thanks for the tip. They are stock headlights. They have been working normal until yesterday leaving work. Looks like I will be getting the multi function switch replaced and hope that takes care of it!
