i want "boom" but don't want to jeapordize quality. i was thinking 1 JL Audio 10 mounted in center storage/armrest thing would be enough with maybe an amp and component tweeter package. if you have the december issue of Diesel Power i like the simple setup he has on the d-max on the cover. i mean realistically how much would it cost for 4 decent mids and a JL 10 in the center? it wouldnt be too much would it. like $750. i mean that i dont need a perfect system for the audio enthusiast but come on i'm 15 i like bass but i want it to sound good and people be like that sounds good. you know what i mean?

To rock the neighborhood you will definately need at least two subs. One will thump but won't really do the dead! I'd like to fit 2 12's in mine but still am searching for a good way to do it without eating up to much room!

Talking system in ur diesel

I have a 02 F250 crew cab 4x4 and i put in two pioneer 12 shallow truck subs in a costom box and powered them with an 800watt amp. Then i hooked an amp up the stock speakers (front and rear) and put in a new pioneer cd/xm/ipod/mp3 player and it rocks.

Rockfors fosgates are great also! It's been a while since I have been in the game but I would suggest going to a radio shop and having a listen to a few good brands! Check out crutchfield also, they usually have remarks and write ups on stuff.
