I bought an Alpha-Nav
double din AN5650NV for $200 off of CraigsList (it isn't stolen, I checked). It came out of a GM Envoy and all the wire harnesses were for the GM.
After buying the ebay install kit Here
it was pretty easy since all the wiring / connectors are done outside the vehicle.
I personally never heard of this brand before but it is pretty fast. The steering wheel function even works after connecting the "Wheel 1" wire from the stereo to wire #18 on the harness. The speed volume sensor does not work as Alpha-Nav does not have a wire for it. I still have my reverse camera set up to my Edge CTS but I am considering running the reverse wire from the stereo to the reverse light wire under the steering column and plugging it into the stereo.
This stereo is designed for iPod/iPhone which I do not use. The GPS software is just like Alpine's.
I had to get a lot of info from forums like this one so I want to make sure others know what works in our trucks. I read a few disappointing stories of non brand name radios. I am really impressed with this one.
