I haven't heard Focal personally, but read tons of great reviews. I wouldn't hesitate on them as you will be pushing some wattage to them. I went with Polk DB series just to run off a head unit, otherwise I would have gone with a higher end speaker.

They're freak in badAss! I'm running them along with a few other members. There was a thread not too long ago not sure where it is just search focal and you'll find a few. I'm not running any amp to them as they're plenty loud enough for me and I have a 12" sub behind the seat. Sounds perfect loud and crisp even going 80 down the highway with windows down.

I have infinity kappas, and I like them. I just haven't found a way to wire the front two to my amp.

Infinity kappas are great speakers too, but the focals out Perform the kappas un-amped. Not a nock on the kappas just the truth. That's why I went with focals.
