Rear panel speaker removal with pics!

So I saw a lot of people asking questions about how to remove speakers on crew cabs or vehicles where the speaker is located in the rear panel rather than the rear door. From most of the write ups I saw it was real easy to do, but I thought I would take some pictures for people just so they have a mental reference. So here it goes.

Step one: Clean out the back of your truck. (image 1)

Step two: Bring down the rear bench. (image 2)

Step three: Get a T50 socket, sorry that its a little hard to see with the glare.
Than locate your seatbelt thing, pop open the cover on it and this is where the torx bolt is.
Remove that bolt and lay your seatbelt on the ground for now.
(image 3-5)

Continued in next post so that I could add more images

Step four: Remove the little step thingy that is on the ground right when you open the door, it has three clips, so just pull it straight up. (image 1-2)

Step five: Remove the black rubber strip around the working area of the door. (image 3)

Step six: Remove the panel from the side, this is held in by 7 or 8 clips and can be a bit awkward to try to pull on, just try to make sure that you pull it straight out as much as possible. Once you get it off, lay it on the ground out of the way of your working area. (image 4)

Now you have access to your speaker (image 5), which is held in with four small bolts just like the front speakers. Re install everything in the opposite order. Hope this is helpful for you!
