Aftermarket radio install accessories advice

Good afternoon everyone, I just picked up a Pioneer P4400BH off a friend, and need the install kit, wiring harness and steering wheel control module for my 2005 F-350 King Ranch. I normally do all my own research, but there are some many different kinds and brands its making my head spin. So I figured I'd ask you since many of you had installed aftermarket head units. I figured you could point me in the right direction. Thanks.

Looking for the same info...I know some others have done it. I'm thinking of going to best buy to see what they have for an install kit and harness. We'll see. I'm sure it's cheaper online, but I'm trying to install this soon.

Just found out that it comes with a PAC SWI-RC. Crutchfield shows this as compatible with my truck. Now just need the mounting kit and wiring harness.

I found the mounting kit and wiring harness on Amazon for really cheap...like $4 and $9 or something. I'm still going to look at BestBuy just because I'm in a bit of a hurry but if it's much more than that I think I'll have to wait...

if you haven't looked already....

best buy wants $20 for the ford radio pigtail, and $20 for the plastic dash install kit, so $40 and you still need to find the PAC steering wheel control module (they sure didn't have them in stock at my local store, but i wasn't looking either since my truck is a strippie and doesn't have em)

i found the 2 peices i need for <$20 on amazon, so yea. I'd like to install mine tonight too, but im going to order online and wait it out to save $20

Thanks, I will probably get mine off amazon, I'm in no big hurry. Also I found out it comes with the steering wheel control I need.

Just need the wire harness and plastic double din dash mount, any brand
Get the PAC steering wheel module, it's the only brand I hear good things about.
Install is pretty easy and straight forward.
Here is my pioneer x930bt

Car Stereo Radio Kit Dash Installation Mounting Trim Bezel with Wiring Harness | eBay

I got this kit for my AppRadio. Super easy to use kit. Simply break off the tabs you dont need, wire the harness to your stereo harness and your good to go... Takes longer to take the dash off than it does to install it with this kit... I didn't opt for the steering wheel kit as I never used the volume controls anyway... I did not loose AC or any other steering wheel function. Look up MicroBypass to bypass the parking break wiring... Much easier and lets you use your video functions on the fly if your kiddos want to watch something. Just keep your eyes on the road! LOL

Hope this helps!

jlmotox, Now that you have had some time with it, how are you liking that setup so far? Looks like something I would put in my rig.

Thanks, Aintskeerd
