ANOTHER 08 NAV UNIT INTO 06

I have a 06 king ranch and thought i would upgrade my indash 6-disk to the 08 nav unit,my buddy has a 08 450 king ranch that he went totally custom with his stereo equitment...so i bought his nav unit complete with everything

i have the complete unit in my truck now,i have the gps antenna, sirius box, sirius antenna, and all the misc little boxes and so on...complete.. but when i plug in the nav unit and it does turn on,the unit comes on and has the "FORD" logo and then it just dies!! im getting frustrated with it so i took it to my local ford dealer to see what they would say, well nothing! i spent $125 dollars to tell me they couldnt figure it out.. im in orlando area and will pay someone to get this working for me!!PLEASE HELP, 2 months and still dont have a radio working in my truck!!im not sure if it is just a code i need??? but i like i said,it does turn on for about 5 seconds then dies after dispalying the ford logo..
