mods on a day off

So I decided to install a few small gadets today. I got a 20 rearview cam off ebay. I installed it where the key hole is on the tailgate. Put it there gave me a higher angle on the hitch and better for hooking up to the trailer. I also installed a nice jvc head unit for the display and new radio. I also installed a pac swi (steering wheel interface) controller. So now I can use the much love controls on the wheel. Lastly stopped by RadioShack and picked up a pair of small led's (only need one but now ill have a spare) for 4 bucks. I used this to hook up to the glow plugs so now I know the exactly when they cut off, cheap and easy.

Cool adds! I just did a kenwood and a license plate cam, new JL had amp and JL 8,s with Rockford fosegate speakers in the doors and pillars, and AMP steps. Does your truck not have the stock glow plug light. I curious about why you did that. I live in Florida so not much cold here.

it does have a light in the cluster but when that cuts off the plugs are still on the plugs stay one for about a min or 2 after the cluster light goes out. its for more of peace of mind knowing they are truly off and not draining my batteries or pulling more load on the alternator.

oh and about the camera the license plate mount one is too low for my liking. my brother has one on his truck and lining up with the trailer isn't as easy the high angle lets you see when the trailer tonge I right over the hitch

But they are going to run their coarse whether you like it or not. I don't see the point either not a thing you can do about it.
