trying to hook up homelink

hey there im trying to hook up a home link visor in my truck...
To start I have a 07 f250 lariat fx4, and it didn't come with home link...
A friend of mine gave me a home link visor off a 08...so I plugged it in my truck and only the light on the mirror work.... Is there another wire I need to run to my new visor cause there are only two and power and ground like on my truck.... thanks

just to eliminate the obvious, are you doing it like this?

**edit, sorry I just saw where you said it wont blink. The homelink in the visors gets it's power from the same wire as the vanity mirrors, so it is powered all the time.
